What happens after you sign up
Companies are set up in turn, and what you tell Jude about your work helps decide the order.
-
Jude writes to you
Before November 1, Jude emails you a few questions about your company and how your clients are billed.
-
You send your files
You send spreadsheets of your clients and their sites, and each client's prices. You also send your current contracts: which service each site gets, how often, at what price, and under which purchase order (PO) and terms.
-
Your clients and contracts are entered
Your clients, sites and price books are imported, and Jude enters your contracts with you, so the schedule fills with your own jobs. Together you set up each billing account: who pays, the terms, whether a PO is required, how invoices are grouped and where they're sent. The assistant drafts this from a recent invoice and your answers, and you review it before anything goes live.
-
Your techs and your payments
Your techs are invited to the field app. To take card and ACH, you'll need a Stripe account in your company's name, and your clients' payments go directly to it.
-
Your first billing run
The jobs your techs complete become drafts, and your office checks them and issues your first invoices.
